Last night at the club the inter club slide battle was marred in my opinion because one slide was marked down because it was masked so as to be off centre when projected. What do folk think of that?
After the tea break the first slide shown was also off centre, the judge made disparaging comments about it and when the next slide was projected it was realised that the projector had been moved, the first slide had not been masked 'incorrectly'. The judge then apologised for his comments.
Surely the judge should be marking the image, whether it is central on the screen or not is immaterial, it it the quality of the image that counts in my book.
What do you all think?
