Just wondering what printers everyone uses and what they thing of them.
I myself have just changed from the Epson R1800 to the R2880 because although I didn't have it long, for the life of me I couldn't get a decent monochrome, caste free print.. No

Lexmark P4350 - All in one. (£50 18months or so ago.)

Cheap and cheerful to buy, and it prints well enough, but as is all too often the case with these "too cheap to be true" inkjets, cartridges last five minutes and cost an arm and a leg to replace.

To be fair, I didn't buy it specifically as a photo-printer, just as a general purpose printer that is photo-capable should I need it.

HP Pro B9180.
Got it for A3+ printing, no need to change cartridge for B/W prints, a brill but expensive printer. I only use HP inks and paper.

HP Photosmart 4180 and Canon IP4500. I bought the Canon printer because I had a Canon 450d camera and thought it would be more compatible - WRONG! The HP definitely produces better colour, unless I am doing something wrong. pale

I'm using a 6 year old (at least) Canon S9000. It's quick, (A4 photo quality prints in about 1 minute) doesn't seem to burn ink and now that I've washed out the used ink pad, it's back to its normal excellent quality. Obviously superceded by newer models, I'll stick with it for a while longer but I like the sound of the Epson 2880 and it's only about what I paid for the S9000 all that time ago.
