Have any of you been to Focus on Imaging at the NEC Birmingham. It's on next week and I was wondering if it would be worth a visit. Is there much there for the amateur photographer?

Thanks for any info.

Colin

If you've got the time and the fare money available then it's worth the trip. You will be inundated by the products and the displays. Not recommended if you haven't got any spare cash to buy things as you will get frustrated at the possibilities! BUT, if you want to buy or research a particular item then it's well worth a mooch round. Be prepared for crowds, pushing, not being able to get next to the display immediately and poor food (take a sarnie and just buy a drink, you'll lose less time!) Treat it as a day out, buy your ticket online to save queuing and enjoy!

Thanks for the offer but I have to go on Monday, I have things on at work for the rest of the week.

I'll be letting the train take the strain. Sleep
